Maury Balcom began his grape-growing efforts in the Columbia Valley in 1971. Grapes assume a less than dominant position as part of the vast Balcom and Moe Farms, but now hold a special interest as small lots of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and other varietals are selected to be fermented into wines under the Balcom & Moe label.
