Bookwalter Winery was established in 1983 by Jerry Bookwalter, who has more than 20 years of experience in Viticulture and Ag Production from both California and Washington State as well as a B.S. degree from UC Davis. He began in the 70's serving as general manager for Sagemoor, Bacchus and Dionysus vineyards.  Bookwalter currently produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot , which scored 90 plus in The Wine Spectator, as well as Red Table Wine, Johannisberg Riesling,  Chenin Blanc,Chardonnay and Muscat Blanc. Bookwalter Winery's new location offers tasting, tours and sales. The setting is picturesque and the winery is surrounded by wonderful gardens.
