About the Winery

On 300 acres overlooking the beautiful Columbia River, Bob and Crista Whitelatch grow premium wine grapes, gourmet apples and asparagus. Crista's father, Russell Claar, planted the first grapes on this site in 1980. In 1996 work was begun on the winery, which will focus on producing premium wines from estate grown grapes, using the best of traditional and modern winemaking techniques. The winery features barrel-fermented Chardonnay, late harvest Riesling, dry Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Opening in June of 1997.
