Washington State's first premium winery, Columbia Winery was founded in 1962. Columbia Winery has earned a reputation for producing fine, award-winning dry white wines, Semillon and Pinot Gris, as well as exceptional Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. Winemaker David Lake also offers his signature series of fine wines including Cabernet Sauvignon from the Otis, Red Willow and Sagemoor Vineyards, and Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Washington State's first Syrah. Visitors to the winery may sample Columbia's premier wines at the state's largest wine tasting bar. The winery's banquet facilities can accommodate groups from 16 to 300. Open daily, 10 am to 7 pm. New Wine: Columbia Winery is pleased to announce that Columbia Wine & Spirits is introducing a new wine called Millennium. This new brand is a "collaboration" of threes, and production will remain very tiny. Millennium is composed of three grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Millennium is a collaboration of the talents of three winemakers and three wineries; namely David Lake M.W. - Columbia Winery, Dave Crippen - Covey Run Vintners, and Mark Cave - Paul Thomas Estate & Winery.
