The name Horizon's Edge is derived from the panoramic view of the Yakima Valley, Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier seen from the winery's tasting room. The small, family-owned winery and vineyard began in 1985. The 20-acre estate is planted in Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Muscat Canelli. Sparkling wine is produced from estate grapes and Merlot is produced using grapes from a neighbor's vineyard. Visitors are invited to enjoy a stroll through the winery's vineyard and may enjoy a relaxing picnic under the grape arbor next to the winery. Hours are: summer and fall, 11 am to 5 pm daily; spring, Friday through Monday 11 am to 5 pm; winter by appointment.
