McCrea Cellars is a micro-winery dedicated to limited bottlings of ultra-premium wines which emphasize richness, complexity and elegance. The owners' home and winery are near Olympia in a lovely rural location with a stunning view of Mt. Rainier. McCrea Cellars specializes in Rhone varietal wines, producing a blend of Syrah and Grenache called "Tierra del Sol" and also bottling the varietals individually. Barrel-fermented Chardonnay is vinted in French cooperage then aged "sur lies" until bottling. The wine displays rich texture and depth. Barrel select reserves are released from exceptional vintages. Tasting and tours are welcomed by appointment.
