E-mail:manz@mountaindome.com Production of methode champenoise sparkling wine has led Dr. Michael Manz to the creation of Mountain Dome Winery next to his geodesic dome home in the foothills near Mt. Spokane. The cuvée of two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay offers the classic combination of Champagnes from France, while barrel fermentation and partial malolactic fermentation set the wines apart in style. New building additions have been made to the winery each year as more space was needed for storage of wine and equipment. Tours and tastings are offered by appointment. |
