Patrick M. Paul winery began with research into grape varieties and root stock in the early 1980s leading to vineyard plantings of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The recent release of Cabernet Franc has attracted attention from the national wine press. Wines are oak aged with a focus on new American oak for its spicy, vanillin qualities.
