The Preston family is one of the pioneer grape growers in the Columbia Valley. Their 50 acre vineyard at the winery was begun in 1972 and has grown to 171 acres producing wines under the Preston label since 1976. The Preston line includes a major selection of varietals specializing in Cabernets, Merlots and Chardonnays, as well as sparkling wines and ports. The tasting room and gift shop offers visitors a chance to browse and take a self-guided tour of the winery operation. The Preston family has also created a picnic park at the winery with a vast lawn area, with gazebo and amphitheater. Hours are 10 am to 5:30 pm daily.
