Located in a turn-of-the-century, one-room schoolhouse, San Juan Vineyards was established in 1996 with the planting of a vineyard beginning that year and continuing to the present.  Approximately eight acres are planted with Madeleine Angevine, Siegerrebe and Pinot Noir.  The winery was built in 1998 with our first bottling in May 1999, of Riesling, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay.  Our wine tasting room is open daily from noon to 6 pm, varies by season.  Until now, our wines have been contract-bottled by other Washington wineries under our label.  We look forward to our first estate bottling before year 2000.  Visit our picturesque wine tasting room and vineyard located 3 mile from Friday Harbor on Roche Harbor Rd.
