Paul Shinoda built Saintpaulia Vintners winery adjacent to his 80,000 square foot commercial greenhouse where he has produced his original Saintpaulia (African violets) for nearly 30 years.  Saintpaulia Vintners produces traditional, Old World technique Cabernet Sauvignon from grapes grown on Red Mountain near Benton City, Washington.  The winery's first vintage, a 1994 Cabernet, was released in fall of 1998.  The winery is currently not open to the public for tours or tastings.  Customers seeking Saintapaulia Vintners wines are asked to contact the winery to be placed on the mailing list.
