Amongst the vineyards north of Prosser is one of the Yakima Valley's newest wineries, Willow Crest. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of wine grapes is the renovated farmhouse where David and Kathy Minick made their dream come true. Take the drive out to taste their wide variety of wines with Pinot Gris, Dry Gewurztraminer, Red One - a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend - and a different late harvest wine each vintage. Enjoy the panoramic view and Willow Crest wine from the picnic area in the vineyard. Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm, President's Weekend through Thanksgiving.
